Promotional codes
Why doesn't the promotional code work. I've tried the game through the unlock and i went to the website and tried it. Neither worked.

I believe that the promotion code is for in-store, like the actual REAL cards. Thats how the last game was. I think the in-game promotion code entry is for different codes.

well still non of them are working i see alot of people on here and on forums elsewhere post codes for the other decks (which btw do you HAVE to buy the dlc to get the other decks because i know in 2013 you didn't have to buy anything to get the other theme decks) all over the place but they don't work for me but they work for others on that forum

Where would you get that idea? Deck keys are for quickly unlocking all the locked cards for the specified deck. Y get all the decks for free though.....just play through the campaign.

I can't get my code to redeem properly for whatever reason, which is a total rip off! I would have bought it on 360 if I knew i wasn't going to get a promo, but I got it on steam so I could get my Scavenging ooze!

It's the other way around. You get promos codes from the game to unlock REAL cards. And promo codes you get IRL you use in DotP.

but how do you redeem those codes? the Wizards website for redeeming always says the code is wrong even if you put it in right

Try your local cardshop.

If i remember right, the game takes you to their website for you to print off a proof of purchase page that you take to a praticpating retailer and they trade it for the promotional package.

Do not confuse this promotion with the forthcoming promo codes to unlock new card in each of the starting decks. Currently, only people that have hacked their clients have access to these cards.

againi will say it the promo code for getting the foil of that ooze card it talks about at the promotions section in the game DOES NOT WORK!. I went to the website put in my Date of birth, my country, put in my promo code and my steam name LIKE IT SAID and it comes up" sorry the code or name you entered is invalid." but i put everything in correctly.

"invalid code. Confirm in Settings that "server driven content" is enabled and you are connected to the internet. You might also need to restar Magic 2014" whyyyy? :(

Steam is to blame for not testiing this to esnure the cards can be redeemed the digital variants not the physical ones. As the game allwos you to choose magic 2014 then asks for the code but again either the magic server is caput or ttheir bandwidth issues has prevented the codes to be redeemed succesfully. I want my money back STEAM trading standards gonna here this, miss sold a product or service yes because of these muppets i dont want to play this game anymore sirry wizards you lost a potential customer.
