A Temporary "Fix" for Steam Cloud Erasing Your Profile
This is assuming that you are using Windows System Restore points.

Navigate to your profile / data folder (usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\#user number#\ ).

Right click on the '213850' folder. Now select "Restore previous versions." You should see a list of options with different dates, simply choose the best one of when before you lost your profile.

This may not give you back everything, depending on when your last restore points were taken, but for most people this should give you back most of the data that you lost.

I highly recommend disabling the steam cloud for this game. In your Steam Library, right click on Magic 2014, select Properties, click on the Updates tab, then uncheck "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Magic 2014."

Bravo my friend!
You have managed to do , what steam refuses to do . HELP people who lose save files, from their pathetic DRM..

Cloud saves are not DRM, and you can disable them entirely if you wish.

Always backup the entire (Steam\userdata) folder to be safe that's what I am doing atleast.
