Game does not save resolution settings reliably - keeps falling back to 1024x768
Most times when i start the game, it defaults to 1024x768 resolution (4:3). Have native desktop resolution of 1920x1080 (16:9).

Making me sick. Have to set it back to 1920x1080. Sometimes game keeps the settings, most times not.

Damn, what can i do about this ? Any solution?

Nice one, thanks to Festive - think that will fix it temporarily for now.

But: I don't like to change files in steam folders - mainly because changes there may
1. be problematic
2. be overwritten by updates
3. trigger unknown problems

I think developers are well aware of this. Can't find any future update plans on developer website.

Should we put more pressure on developers ?

It's just about attitude: devs <-> customers
Meaning - if bugs are well known and their fixes are even shown on youtube, why aren't they fixed ?

This is getting a smell.... Again. Looking like a 2013+ business plan. Sell as many copies as possible, and then p*** on those stupidos.

As so often this year. Losing confidence....

Had the same issue - can't say i'm surprised given what a buggy pos this game is.

Change resolution manually in config.cfg->put "read only" for it. End of problem

FFS, it's been MONTHS. It should take a programmer 5 minutes, tops, to fix this. What gives?

because the game is an unbalanced buggy pos and it always will be

I can live with design flaws. Intent is hard to fix.

I can't live with basic, simple, it-works-fine-in-hundreds-of-thousands-of-other-games type errors, that should have been fixed hours of release.
