Stuck on silent fart tutorial.

I'm stuck in the bathroom with Stan's Dad and he's trying to teach me the silent fart.

I have tried everything, mimicked the tutorial instructions exactly and it floats to the opposite side of the room away from him by the stalls and fails, forcing me to repeat the tutorial over and over. It's just not working for some reason and I can't figure out if it's a bug or I'm just doing it wrong. It's not moving any differently no matter how I rotate the stick and simply floats straight across the room and settles on the floor by the stalls every time.

The directions for what to do appear to be pretty clear and I've coppied the stick movements exactly in both directions. I've tried every possible motion to try and control the fart and figure out the timing but it's just not working. I get a fail message, he talks for an irritating amount of time and forces me to sit through is demonstration before I can have another go of figuring out what to do. I've been stuck there for almost a half hour now.

It's been a lot of fun up to this point but hitting this wall has killed my enjoyment and I'm just annoyed now. Either this thing is seriously bugged or the on screen directions are completely screwed up and not clear enough.

i am in same boat, but I never get the right button to do it. I am using keyboard but holy ♥♥♥♥, who decided to put this ♥♥♥♥ in? I have been trying for almost an hour, is that how they extend the game? By making people waste massive amounts of time doing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorials that serve no purpose otehr then to piss off players?

It took me awhile to do as well. What I found out was start the fart, use the Left stick (I am on controller, so whatever controls it for you), find the sweet spot, and then just hold it until it says to release.

Finally got it. You've got to have the fart on the maximum sweet spot when it settles on the floor or you don't get the prompt to set it off. I was getting near to it or moving off too soon before the prompt came up. It just kept giving me the "Failed" message because I wasn't holding it in the maximum sweet spot long enough.

They really need to make that clearer in the tutorial as it seems like you're supposed to control how it floats around and set it off before it settles in the demonstration it gives you. It's just a bad and unclear tutorial. I was worried it was a bug and I'd be stuck there until the game was patched.

I admit it was frustrating, but I'm glad that it was simply a case of poor directions rather than a progress killing bug.

Basically the second part is the first training session under a different name, You just have to find the right "rumble" and hold it there then follow the prompts. What kept screwing me over was the part before it, for some reason I couldn't fart on Randy at all, I kept getting fail prompts and I have no idea why...

i just spammed "a/d" and it seemed to work...thought i was supposed to control the direction somehow. thanks for the thread.

Just got it... the rhythm gets faster between A and D after the fregency gets higher.

How do you get past the first part? Every stick movement I make seems to fail. The very first part where he says 'come at me. fart on me'

problem is, that is for a controller, not a keyboard. At least with controller, its one thing to use. With keybaord it requires hittitng A or D and hoping to ♥♥♥♥ it works. As it stands, I am done until something gets put in to just let us pass it, hell let Randy call the character a failed douchebag but let us skip it. Cause right now, it has stopped my story progression, my gaming progression, everything.

Press A exactly when A is going down on the screen, to start that vibration graphic, and alternate to the D key, and back, rigth after you get a big rumble on each press, it's a juggling act, and a piece of ♥♥♥♥ one at that.
