hmmm interesting I was actually thinking about something like this for a 60 minute game and running my miners from the outposts. I like the idea of just completely surrounding the main base with dynamite better than what I had planned though =) I was going to see if there was a way to turn off the miners from spawning from the main base and surround the main area with boxes and dynamite all of the paths leading to the base.

You could (before the dynamite goes off) have a big wall, for lava with the dynamite right next
neither of these would work or be very smart for 2 reasons.

1) any holes within the green area of your base get filled in and made solid, so you would have to keep spending more and more and more just to keep it safe.

2) to my knowledge, you can only create miners from the main base.
