Mono Frameworks Has No Download Links (Mac OSX)
I didn't realize this game was built on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ framework engine. Anyway, went on the page for mono downloads as when I tried to start up the game it told me I needed the "Mono Framework" engine. I went on the page, and there was no direct way to download the addon. It was frustrating. I found myself at MonoDevelop instead and there was no way to download anything there either. All I could do was press Mac OSX under "Select your operating system". Then, it told me I needed Xamarin Studio 4.0.9 and Mono + GTK. I downloaded both, installed Mono GTK, and when I try to launch the game, it still doesn't work.

Yeah, I saw you post that earlier and all but here's the thing: I have no idea what I am supposed to do on that page. Am I supposed to click something? Am I supposed to use an external application like XQuartz (X11) or Terminal to download through the webpage?

Sorry for the delay, I'm not here that often...

Well I did this a few months back and am running version 2.10., which works fine on OS X 10.6.

So if you want to go for that, click on the Mac OS X icon in 'Previous stable version' and download the Intel Mac 'Runtime' version. The download should start automatically.

Good luck!

I tried to, but it didn't work in Safari. So I tried to do it in a different browser (Firefox), and it didn't work there either.

I used Safari. Just retried to check and download started no problem. Maybe sth about your browser or system preferences? Sorry it's not working out... I won't be any use to you on the technical side of things. I depend on stuff just working - it's why I have a Mac i suppose...

Well, I can help you out on the technical side of things myself.
The problem is that we are using Mac's. Sure, you didn't have a problem with this, but I bet that you've had your fair share of issues- assuming you use your Mac often.

it's working for me. Just choose the latest stable version. I use Lion tho, so it likes to crash every now and then, which is irritating. Macs aren't C++ (I don't think) so programming works differently.

I think you mean that Mac's aren't good at processing C++ code as it's built in Unix.
