HELP!!!!!!!! everytime i try to open up dwarfs an error box comes up with "windows is looking for a solution" but then it just closes it rather than telling me how to fix it. I would be really grateful for any help, thanks.

sounds like a problem withh dependecies. Go into the folder where the game is installed. Then there is a folder called depends. In there you should find a xna folder a dotnet folder and a directx folder isntall them in this order and see if the game runs.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dwarfs - F2P

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dwarfs - F2P\Depends

1.DotNet
2.XNA
3.DirectX

The install script system in steam is not perfect for .msi files so it tends to fail. we are sorry for the incovinace... but happy it works now! : )
