Why so expensive?
I can get it in a toystore for 7.99, here it costs 27.99, retailprice is 19.99.
Almost every game is way more expensive at Steam.

Just buy it with DOTA 2 Treasure Keys/ Mann. Co Supply Crate Keys (TF2 Keys), I got mine for 3 keys ~ $7.50 (Except the 3 keys were a repayment from a mate in school so techinically got it free lol.)

Steam and Publishers come to an agreement on what to sell a game for. Steam is partly to blame.

To be honest, Steam and other online marketplaces that sell Steam redeem codes have sales so often that the base price is almost irrelevant. The general rule of thumb on Steam is that if you have just a bit of patience you can pick up the games you want for a fraction of the price.

Or, as stated above, you could just trade with someone in exchange for TF2 or Dota 2 keys.

Just buy it somewhere else, its doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

Oh, you say you want it on Steam? Cry me a river then wait for a sale.
