If you want to know the actual amount of money you've spent on the Steam platform, you can use SCOPHE (Steam COpy Paste History Exporter), a Java 8 program I just published on http://dreamspace-president.com , which allows to export your purchase history and licenses history into CSV files.

It also calculates the ACTUAL amount of money you have spent on Steam, as opposed to most other tools which only guess. (I just discovered Steam Receipt[www.mysteamgauge.com] which is a JavaScript solution that should also calculate the proper amount, though it's currently broken due to Steam page redesigns.)
