Icon please? and the joypad support is rubbish.
The game looks quite blah in my library due to the lack of an icon. It has a grid-view image though...
There's also no picture for it in the list of games on my profile.

Really can't be that hard to add a couple of small images lol.

As for the joypad support. It just isn't too grand.
I use a PS1 controller for everything I play. I normally use x360ce to make it work perfectly with games, but it didn't make a difference with this one.
It has my controller set to jump with triangle and shoot with circle.. which is just a real pain. The normal setup would be to jump with x and shoot with square.

Use Joy2Key and assign the Z and X keys to them?
Did it.
When I jump, I can't move left and right while in the air.
So I went ahead and assigned the four arrow keys to my d-pad as well.

Problem is that I can't disable the in-game gamepad support.
When going through the menu, it now moves super fast and sometimes makes my character jump a bit buggy.

Simple fix:
Either allow us to customize our gamepad buttons or have an option to disable joypads altogether.
If I could get the game to not read my pad at all then I could use Joy2Key without any conflicting controls. But if I could change my buttons in-game then I wouldn't even need Joy2key.
Either solution would make the game playable for me.

I wrote the guy who made the game a mail regarding the missing icons, here is the reply:

Thanks, glad you're liking it!

Soon is a tough one - we're traveling for promotion (Fantastic Arcade in Austin, then Eurogamer in Londen). We'll be near the build computer by half of October.

We'll get it fixed :)

Greets,

Yes, this is something that has bugged me since the game launched on Steam. Please fix.

I'm having the exact same problem with joy2key. I'm using a wii classic controller + adapter. For whatever reason, using the native gamepad support doesn't allow me use the dpad. Mapping the arrow keys to the dpad via joy2key fixes that, but then the jumping gets super unresponsive. Other games don't have this problem with joy2key. Obviously, a game like this requires precise control so like ♥♥♥♥ you know?

lol ikr

an option to disable the joypad together would be nice so we wouldn't get conflicts when using joy2key/ gamepadder

Yeah, i have the same problem with a 3rd party "360 controller" too and its so annoying, and one of the buttons in the back of the controller (i think it was RB button) makes the game go back to main menu ¬¬

Also another problem i have is that the steam overlay is cut, it appears with some big texts and it wont fit on my screen and the lines that make the image fit in my monitor (because its not widescreen) cover part of the steam overlay too.

Also in the main menu it says that i dont know what dll is missing and my high scores wont be uploaded or something like that.

Edit: Geez, the topic is so old, i didnt saw that, sorry about reviving it :/
