Controller freezing

I'm using a logitech pc controller to play this game, and it works great, except for the fact that every so often (I have yet to find any pattern) it's almost as if the game loses focus. My character freezes, I can't move or shoot, but enemies still move. Also, the start button on my controller will still send be back to the menu. I have tried using the keyboard but I have yet to experience the problem without the controller.

I think that this is a problem with your logitech controller. I have played over 60 hours of Super Crate Box with my Xbox controller and I haven't experienced any of the problems you have listed.

I recommend purchasing an Xbox USB controller for the PC. They are only about £20 ($31) and they are widely used across Steam games that have any form of native controller support.
