The soccer simulation for masochists
Try the game first before you buy. You can play 5 matches by downloading the demo from the website. While the career mode is fun, the control takes a lot of practice before you can get used to it. I haven't tried the easy mode but I'm struggling even on the normal mode and I am pretty good at other soccer games out there.

Totally. I started the same way, now I've got 8 hour logged I'm playing normal and popping in a good number of goals with my forward. It's a rewarding game.

I find the controls a nightmare as well; and if you're not performing well (because you can't control the game well) you only get selected as a sub & it just gets harder to get used to the way the guy moves around.

Trapping the ball is an absolute nightmare. You can circumvent this by holding one of the Shoot/Lob/Pass buttons, but when you reach the ball you will automatically carry out that action.

This needs to be updated IMO.

As an old SWOS-player I think the controlls are good enough. Though I aggree it takes a wile before your player gets good enough for any real good gaming to start.
