Hi Andy,

It sounds like the demo may be crashing before it even starts. Moving to the store page is what Steam does when you quit a demo. We will try to make sure you have all the prerequisites installed for the game to run. It's possible something went wrong with the initial setup.

Please go to your Steam directory.
Open SteamApps\common\Party of Sin Demo\redist

In that folder you should see a bunch of installers. Assuming you are running a 64 bit system, please run the files:
dotNetFx40_Client_x86_x64.exe
Windows6.1-KB968212-x64-RefreshPkg.msu
xnafx40_redist.msi

After these have been installed try running the game again and report back.

If this doesn't work, please open your Windows Event Log (in the application log section) and copy paste the messages relating to the crash here.

Thanks!
Dan

I have all of those installed already

Could you check your Windows Event Log to see if a crash occurred there?
IAMThePr0digy May 23, 2013 @ 9:21am
I checked it did
IAMThePr0digy May 23, 2013 @ 9:22am
I have numerous crash logs for the games I have tried to play including this one

Please paste the contents of the log so I can diagnose the problem.

Thanks!
