Annihilated the boss on normal

I just finished a normal run with the type b kestrel. Final loadout consisted of an ion ii, and burst ii, a breach ii, and a regular ion. I had full shields, engines, and 2 defense drones operating. The end result was that I took 1 missile hit to the cloaking device on all 3 rounds.

I had an excellent run against it not too long ago. I had two burst laser II and a fire bomb. At some point their ship was so much flamey there was only 2 crew members on it.

...I wonder if you get something special for capturing the boss by killing the crew...

Recently had 3 Burst Mk 2s and a Breach Mk 2 on the Kestrel A with a Pre-Igniter and an Anti-Ship Mk 2. Cloaked the Missile Shots and went to town. Man, that was fun.

Yeah... The ship goes into AI mode and starts autorepairing systems on its own at a faster pace then the normal AI ships. Great reward huh !

That is one hell of a loadout. Ive had 3 burst ii's before, but not with a pre-igniter to boot!

I've had 2 burst 2s and a glaive beam with pre ignitor on Fed A before.

Twelve shot volley, shieldpiercing siege beam, tons of crew. I was REALLY lucky on that run.
