Cristal cruiser unlock?

So, I managed to find the stasis pod and i gived it to the zoltan research facility. They gave me the crystal member and I was lucky enough for finding the rock homeworld. But when I enter there was no quest mark. I tried to check as many beacon as i could but at the end of the sector, I still have nothing so I jumped to the last sector and I got destroyed by the flagship.
Did someone know why I didn't found the cristal homeworld? As i know there should have a quest mark at the begining of the rock homeworld. Did I screwed up at the end or it's the game that didn't work well?

You need to still have the Crystal crew member with you. His name must be Ruwen (so if you renamed him you may have nixed the quest).

The crystal crew member was with me in the rock homeworld and his name was Ruwen, I didn't change it. I play with a french translation of the game, I hope that's not the problem. Also, i unlock the rock C, I read that if I rename the crystal crew member Ruwen I could enter in the crystal homeworld.

- got the crewmember out of it - check!
- wandered to Rock Homeworlds - check!

and no quest beacon? :S Were you playing with AE off?

That's some serious RNG trolling...

I was playing with the AE on, I couldn't find a crystal crewmember otherwise. I hope I'm not gonna have the same problem the next time.

Not true. AE only added Lanius.

and other things whihc makes more sectors so less chance of the unlock - unlocking cruiser is best to have AE off

I thought crystal were added in AE but anyways I play with AE.

You didn't do something goofy like change the crewmember's name, did you? It has to be Ruwen.

Wasted when one is farming the cruiser - one maximises ones chances - only took me some 6 hours, maybe a touch more....so many runs to sector 6 - then one frantic dash on limited fuel to the promised land - theres a wonderful guide on reddit

Looks like you got screwed. just so you know you dont need the stasis pod guy to get to the crystal words, simply having any crystal crew will work

The same is true for finding the pod and Zoltan station (No quest marker). So pick your poison I guess
