Your First Ever Victory?

So on my 28th run with about 23 hours of total playtime, I've achieved my first ever victory in FTL! I was running the Federation Cruiser Type A with almost fully upgrading engines, fully upgraded artillery beam, level 2 cloaking, level 3 shields, TP, Burst Laser II, Pike Beam and Heavy Laser II, with only 4 crew members(rock, mantis, 2 human). The first two phases were fairly simple, and I've beaten them countless times. But alas, finally, I took on and destroyed the rebel flagship in phase 3! Do you remember your first victory? Any crazy circumstances/bad RNG?

Well, found 2 Vulcans and maxed my weapons on a Kestrel A. Destroyed the flagship at the cost of my ship. Still won.

It's been a long time, but I believe it was with the Kestrel B. Early game, everything gets completely destoryed, even on normal. Got some better weapons, I *think* cloaking and/or hacking, smooth sailing from there. With that sort of setup nothing short of a lucky shot can end your run.
