Don't buy anything in the game untill they get the older bugs fixed.
I have played this game for many years now. I have noticed recently that the developers keep working on expansions, etc, but the bugs in the old areas remain broken. For example, there used to be never ending , looping, amazing, music in the trollshaws and rivendell, but now you are lucky if you can hear it. There is a bug in the game that makes it randomly silent while looping. I would hate new players to lose out on the amazing music on the first trip through the trollshaws to rivendell. I know mmo's need to make money by releasing expansions, etc, but they should still keep the players who are paying happy by fixing and supporting what they create.

So there is one bug that I've never noticed, and now everybody must stop paying Turbine, so they lose all incentive to fix anything, as that will help somehow?

Turbine does fixes & support. This year they're not concentrating on a new expansion, but on fixing/updating existing stuff.
But I believe they have an online bug report form. Perhaps logging the bug there has more effect then complaining about it here?

1) If you have not noticed this bug, it is really sad. You must be totally ignorant. It is as obvious as the nose on your face.
2) There are more bugs than just this one. I simply stated the most obvious one, ref #1.
3) I have created a ticket for this issue already and they have not solved the issue. The ticket still goes unanswered. Also, I have posted this in the forums along with other people. They simpy don't care about the players and only care about the $$. That was the point of my post. Anyhow, troll away, I don't care.

Well, I play with music turned off, so yes, that might be the cause of me not suffering from this 'bug'. This does not hinder my gameplay in the slightest, so I don't label it a bug, and certainly not a bug worth boycotting Turbine fore.

It's not the most obvious one. I'd say the most obvious bug is something that you notice from the moment you log on, not a bug you might encounter in an area for L30+ characters.
I'd also hope that Turbine spends time on fixing bugs that actually prevent gameplay.

If you want to complain about something non-critical, pick the lousy clipping of cloaks & weapons...

Of course there are more bugs. How about the invisible flood, where you suddenly start splashing around 10 feet in the air?
Now that's a bug you can complain about.

If you think that I am trolling, then I think you need some major adjustments.
Of course Turbine only cares about money. Small tip: Every company that sells you something does it because they make money that way, not because they feel you NEED that item, or the world will be a better place with that item.

It's funny that you care about a bug, and tell everybody to boycot Turbine until they fix it, but then don't care about the response you get from the people you want on your side.
Please come with decent arguments, or be labelled a troll yourself.

The phrase is "as plain as the nose on your face".

I can name two that are more obvious:

1. Horse and rider animations not being synced.
2. Having DirectX 10 or 11 set in options stops you from creating a character.

3) I have created a ticket for this issue already and they have not solved the issue. The ticket still goes unanswered.
You'll never get a response when reporting a bug.

And your reasoning for this is?

I don't think the word troll means what you think it means.

This happens to me too in the Shire and around Bree, it really ruins your experience of the game.

I just started playing a few days ago and the game is set to use DirectX 11 and I had no issue creating a character.......

This is a known bug. It appears to occur only on W8, but not always.
The workaround is to set the graphics to DX9, and after character creation, you can set it back to 10or 11
