Upgrade to VIP via Steam ???
Is it possible to upgrade my existing account to VIP via Steam Balance? I played the non-Steam version until now and there´s no payment option w/o credit card or PayPal so far.

go to your installation directory and run lotro without steam (turbinelauncher.exe). This lets you pay for VIP with CC or Paypal. If you run the game through steam it seems to bug out when it tries toa ccess your steam wallet

The point is - I don´t want to use a CC or Paypal.

SSG is ill-advised if they don´t fix an already existing payment option that many, many players would use.

It seems the takeover was rushed into place by Warner Brothers to happen before the New Year and everyone was off on their holidays. Now things have settled down they're starting to fix things.

I can confirm that problem is because of transformation from WB to SSG. Today, I ask Cordovan on stream and he said that they are working on it.

I had the same problem. I assumed it was because of the changeover. No worries, I'll give SSG my money once it's straightened out. I've been away from the game for years and am pleased that Middle Earth looks pretty good with the High Rez pack.
