XD How did you do that?
I've taken some stupidly crazy jumps in the boating section in Dream Valley, but never enough to clip that far out of the track. :P

take joe musashi or anyone who have max turbo boost and speed, and when you land on the water section of the track, make 2 stunt, and before you reach the ramp, try to make a drift on it, and joe will literally "take off" from the track like a plane, but with his boat and then, enjoy using your boat to travel everywhere on the map no matter the texture xD

Funny story, this bug is partially the reason I managed to beat the Expert Ghost on this course. I've since corrected that, but when I beat the expert ghost, I managed to clip through the inner wall and somehow land on the course further down without much speed loss or any respawn.

It's the result of there being no solid clipping toward the tops of the cliffs, alowing for the ability to actually leave the map. Normally, falling under the map (or running your boat agroud in rare cases) like this will force a respawn after a few seconds to the last known in-bounds location and in the multiple cases I've fallen out of Dream Valley (and Adder's Lair in a similar situation) I've been respawned on the course after falling into oblivion.

Also, the lack of texture like you mentioned, textures don't really have anything to do with whether a surface is solid or not. Not sure how their engine handles it, but if it's anything like Unreal or Source, there's likely a missing collision brush/trigger there that would normally prevent exiting the course, likely because they didn't catch in testing or weren't anticipating these kinds of shenanigans. Actually having textures there in locations that can't normally be seen from any angle would just mean longer load times; this is why if you leave the normal play area, you can see through walls from the other side from out of bounds.

I've done a 10x flip with 3x roll.

Couldn't believe I actually managed it...

I fell through Dream Valley like that on the first or second week the game came out on PC. I had it happen with Ralph. Went too fast off the jump on the water and couldn't turn back onto the course in time. What happened next was a 10 second fall in which all parts of the track were visible, just like that lol.

I've had a lucky bounce and tricked over the entire water level into the transition hoop without landing. :D

I sorta had that once, I somehow fly are breakneck speed and landed just on the little ramp into the early transformation ring and kept on going. It was an insane experience.

That boating section, man. It' is lolbroken :P
Once you know it well, you can get a redonkulous lead over everyone who doesn't know the proper tricking.
You can also fly off into a rock too if you aren't careful. :P

Yeah sorry that's what i meant too. It was into the early transformation ring not the one near the end of the lap... but it's still an insane jump. :D

Don't worry, it'll be fixed sometime...

I've meant someday...

Probably not; it wasn't fixed today. Given the engine, it would probably require significant changes to the course to add a few clipping walls, something that probably won't be able to be done overnight.

i was wondering also why call this track dream valley while it's original name is spring valley ?

just asking.

Sanctuary Falls isn't Sky Sanctuary, Graffiti City isn't Tokyo-to, Curien Mansion isn't the House of the Dead (though there's a very good reason for this one); the name changes are probably more astetic than anything honestly.

ahhh so that's why
