Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

Cheating or otherwise, is their a way to flat out stop the timer?
I was doing okay and even did the other event of four races per set but I flat out can't do the missions at the end. I find them overly difficult and it isn't due to my skill or that I suck so to say, I have a disability. My Multiple Sclerosis damage over my lifetime has prevented me from being the super elite all-star so to say.

Please, can I at least shut the damn timer off? I often feel like I am racing a clock over other racers and that just shows cheap sellouts over programming on a game I do enjoy playing. I also would be happy with Bronze on everything but the flat out demand for higher metals toward the end is a complete insult.

Now please, I am asking kindly, is their a way to shut off the timer or gift some other benefit to win with. Being blunt, we all aren't young teenagers playing these game and I am not playing in a competition but rather alone with my fiance only. So I don't get VAC banned, is their anything I can use or a code that will flat out dumb down the timer so to say...or even gift involnerablity or infininte All-Star.

Thanks in advance.

If all you're asking for is to be able to have available all racers and tracks (for local games no less)... well, that's not all that bad.

Being slightly unscrupulous, there is a save game file you can download that has "165 stars, 25 out of 26 characters, all default tracks and some mirrored tracks unlocked"

I'm wondering if that would be good. In all likelihood the missing character is AGES.

It's the only thing I can think of that wouldn't outright trigger VAC once it gets implemented.

You know what, that may work. I am not so much on records but I will run the idea by my fiance. My only question is that after "installation" of the save file, would it be saved in my accounts save directory just so that way in the far future, I would still have the file.

But yes, if no other way will work I would be very happy with it and thank you.

(I need to ask her as even knowing it is my game, I mostly got it and enjoy it with her and I am not sure what she will think.)

If all goes well with the replacing of the save file, then it will also likely synchronize to your Steam cloud backup. So if you want to revert to your old file, you'll have to save it yourself to later replace. (Assuming all this works well)

I kinda wish there were a less covert way of doing this but so far there isn't any "pay to unlock all stuff" DLC.
Give me three hours to get back home and I'll help you out if you're still stuck.

Since this isn't doing anything that will be unfair to other players, especially online, I'm willing to walk the moral grey here.

((EDIT: Turns out there more save files out there unlocked and some players have copied theirs for others to use. So yes. This is a thing.))

No problem but as thank I would be happy to help you with pc repair (Even while disabled, I use the knowledge I have gained by studying and experience after confirming I know what I am doing to double check. Believe me, read the A+ certification manual for PC repair.)

I appreciate the offer, though being a PC enthusiast myself I've already had my fair share of experience building and upgrading my own PC.
If you want to talk about software headache though, I'm all ears. ;)

Anyways, give me just over another hour to make it home and I'll log onto my Steam account and give you a hand. (No charge ^_^)

...later on...

The file you gave me works fine, offers no spyware or viruses, and is quite small and simple. If someone else wants this file as well ask me and I will gift it to you to show my thanks to the guy above.
