Online bug? Uncontrollable drift, looking back trigers by itself, boost not activiting after stunts?

Lately, I've been encountering a few bugs... or so I assumed. My first assumption was a controller issue, but recently single online match, the online player wasn't moving from the start of the race. So as the race progress, he managed to teleport to 1st place, constantly, without moving at all. I assumed it was a internet glitch except my drifts would not work properly, my weapons would activited, immediately, after obtained, and my screen kept looking back without me hold or pressing the button, occasionally. Towards the end of the race, the match disconnected.

In additon, on a few of my matches the boost would not activite after a stunt until after a few seconds.

My controlls ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ properly on offline races, but on online, I tend to encounter these issues.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Sounds like your control inputs have somehow been cached...

Are you using some form of custom controller software?

I'm using DS3 Tool for the PS3. Is that a problem? / not saying in a disrespect way.

I use DS3 Tool without much troubles (well, apart from it being a poorly coded driver with memory leaks due to the crappy front end). I'd suggest using it in XInput emulation mode, where it emulates an XBox 360 controller. That's what I use it in.

Yeah, I'd try that. It shouldn't cause a problem, but if you're getting control weirdness it's certainly worth trying some of the other DS3 options. We've seen some software do odd things hence the original question :)
