ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe has stopped working

I purchased this game yesterday, and i was able to get in the game and play it with no problems the first 3 times i entered the game. But then suddenly when i want to enter the game i get this message (ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe has stopped working) so i cant even get in the game anymore. I have tried to uninstall the game and redownload it but it still won't work. Anyone has experienced the same issue? or anyone who knows how i can fix this?

I have tried google with no help :(

Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed" and right click on ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe. Click on Properties and then go to the Compatibility tab. Try to set the compatibility to Windows XP (Service Pack 3). It might work.

I even tried to uninstall they game a second time, still not working. I found a thread about some people getting this message while ingame and crashes, but no one like me who cant even get in the game.

It might be helpfull if you post the full specs of your system (OS and all relevant hardware)

Try downloading the 4 GB App Patch from here and patching the game .exe:

What it does is that it lets the game use more memory, up to 4 GB. It eliminated the crashes for me, mind you that you need to reapply it with every update though (since the exe gets patched). Only helps those with 4 GB or more RAM (I have 8 GB myself).

My computer specs are:

CPU: Intel 3770K i7
Graphicscard: Gtx 680 from nvidia
8GB of ddr3
Windows 7 with all updates up to date.
The graphicscard driver is also updated to the latest.

Thanks for the help. My problem was exactly that i changed monitor to the TV and it had different resolution. I just changed the game resolution to the same as the TV and now it works fine.

I keep getting this ♥♥♥♥, it's not a resolution issue for me. On windows 8.1.

It always happens when I choose match making and it's looking for a game. Get booted to desktop. It doesn't happen all the time but its getting more frequent. Tried validating files.

Yep, I'm still getting this. I'm also on the Windows 10 Preview, and although the Ram Patch let me use the launcher, I can find no way to launch the game without it crashing on me as it starts up.

I got around this by changing the graphics display options to "windowed/fullscreen"

Comprei hoje esse jogo e não consigo rodar ele de jeito algum. Meu sistema operacional é o Windows 10 Pro Versão 1511 Processador Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5400 @ 2.70GHz RAM 4GB Sistema 64bits, processador com base em x64.
Pelo pouco que entendi nos comentárioos acima, creio ser importante dizer que meu monitor é um DELL E1912H (Analog). Algm conseguiria me ajudar? Pleaseeee
