Describe your best wreck!

We know the game crashes every so often, but what about cases where you crash while racing in such a way that you have to stop and laugh at the absurdity of your failure? Cases where you run into something in such a way that your kart spazzes out or ends up somewhere where it shouldn't be, cases where the physics screw you over and cause you to roll out of control for a bit, or cases where you just can't believe you hit what you hit in such a way that you did?

I have a couple I wanted to put out, see if I can set the bar pretty high. First one, I got hit with the All-Star Transformation bug (when you All-Star right on a transition spot) in Race of Ages going into the water section. The game failed to register a transform so I ended up sailing Shadow's car through the water for a bit. The car floats when the wheels are out, but they don't exactly grip the waves too well.

Second, this happened today, I was time attacking in Adder's Lair. Boosting into a new lap, I must've hit that first ramp at just the right angle because my craft managed to sail so high that I landed on the driving section underneath the skeleton statue. Boats don't work on land so I ended up idling there for a few seconds before it dumped me back on the course, but I had a big wtf face on during that whole thing. I caught that one on video:

Oh my, haven't seen that one before!
I've been stuck as a boat up on the drawing bridge that you see on Adder's Lair after gaining too much speed.
The best experience I've had on PC is colliding with a laggy person and going warp speed through a wall on Sunshine Tour, around the first corner of the lap. I travelled straight for a good 5 seconds before respawning where I was before. No video unfortunately, but I believe Neeku was in that game. My icon just sort of flew off the map.

Carrier Zone... was trying to get the shortcut near the end but didnt angle myself right and hit the wall... went from 2nd to 5th.

I've barrel rolled in a boat from contact with laggy players - several times - but my best wreck was when a friend and I were playing an online custom game on the Seasonal Shrines stage, and a five-way collision involving three CPUs and the statue in the middle of the first tunnel sent us both flying. I landed upside-down in a far corner of the cave.

Now I know what it's like to be an AI racer in Hydro Thunder and get hit by a player mid-boost.

Best wreck for me was probably when I was continuously falling off the track in Rogue's Landing when I got an all-star. Would keep falling into the water when this happened.

I think I had that happen to me once, performed a couple flips at the transform point, the camera spazzed out and I ended up overshooting the track entirely. Fortunately it let me respawn after driving for a short distance (i.e. over an edge beyond the cliff).

I've experienced this wreck too. Was quite, um, frustrated when it happened because it's not exactly dealing you good cards from the get-go, but in hindsight, it was funny. My Mom said she too experienced this on the same track on the WIi U :D

In samba studios I managed to go so fast in the end of the first water part that the last ramp launch me over the transforming ring, so I ended up beeing a boat on land. Couldn't really get further after that and my friends all made fun of me XD

on Graffiti City I was playing as Joe Musashi and I was doing the rooftop jumping section, and my bike got caught on the side of the building and I was floating there for a few seconds. Then when I respawned I was outside the track and fell again. Kind of messed up my race but was pretty amusing.

Racing as B.D. Joe on Graffiti City. I went All-Star just before the first series of ramps/roofs (right before the first fork in the course). I went off the ramp with the boost panel on it, and ended up getting shot way above the track into a collision-less portion of the building above. I went through 2 or 3 skyscrapers before the game realized what was wrong, at which point it immediately catapulted me in reverse at near-supersonic speeds. I hit an invisible level boundary and landed back on the track facing the wrong way.

That All-Star move dropped me from 3rd to 8th. It cost me the race, but it was so hilarious that I really didn't care.

I think mine was in Chilly Castle, either in a GP or World Tour (most likely S-Class).

I was just finishing the first curve about to hit the first boost pad. I get knocked by another racer at that exact moment and go flying off to the side, flip upside down, hitting the wall, and ended up facing backwards.

As Tails I've going through a mountain in a boat on Dragon Canyon. As Robuttnik I've fallen off the Egg Hangar and drove under the track. I've got knocked mid-air as Nights on Burning Depths and got under the track. As Shadow I've got stuck as a jet on Graphiti City and it kept pushing me back past the transform circle. I've also hit a wall and got stuck on a ledge while people passed me online. I've also flown through the rock arc on Dream Valley as a Boat, and went off the map.

Fun though~ I love these.

No proof because I don't oft take screenshots but I've had Joe Ghost Mushashi send me into a wall at such an angle I do a 180 and then zoom backwards (relative to where I'm facing) out of the map.
