an annoying bug and a completely unrelated suggestion
While playing with a controller, I've had several instances of my monitor going into sleep mode after its set duration as a result of a lack of mouse/keyboard input as the game seemingly does not have any kind of 'no-sleep mode while active' setting.

Does this just happen to me, or are other people affected by this too?

The completely suggestion: Can we get a notice of some kind that actually tells what the best achieved rank in a grand prix cup is? it's kind of annoying since the stickerboard updates almost no ongoing tallies for most stickers that require more than one thing to be done (the only exceptions I have noticed are the matchmaking ones), and two of them require all cup 1st position s ranks, but dont actually tell you which one/s, or how many you have left to do.

For GPs, you have Leaderboards and you also a tiny number in the trophy that indicates what you best finishing place was. (It's hard to see but you'll find it. It's always inside a circle.)

As for the monitor-off by inactivity, I'm surprised. I hasn't happened to me. What controller are you using?

Huh, so there is a tiny number. I never noticed that. it's kinda hard to see given that it doesn't really stand out colour wise from the rest of the rank emblem.

For controller, I'm using a gamecube controller via gamecube > usb adapter (super joybox 13).

I'm at a loss for the monitor thing.
Are you playing Windowed or Fullscreen? (or the third option?)

I also have my monitor to turn off after 15 minutes, but none of my games have given me trouble with it in years. :/

Some controllers doesn't always seem to register in Windows. I had the same issue with my Logitech controller, but now when I switched to a Xbox 360 controller I don't have the same problem. Anyway, a simple fix would be to turn it off in Power Options > Edit Plan Settings.

im confused tbh, are you sticker hunting? or trying to do the gp cups? :/

when you select a gp cup there's a trophy to the side (a different one for each level) and it shows your best gp cup finishing position in a little number underneath (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

is that what you meant? :)

believe me the stickerbook can be irrelevant at times... just concentrate on the next lap in front of you, just keep racing....lap...after lap...after lap...after lap...after lap.

you may find you'll get a lot of stickers without even trying :D
