Who wants to see Miku as the next character?
I would. It would be pretty amazing to have her in the game.

I wouldn't, I'd rather see Billy Hatcher or Piranha from Jet Set Radio.

I'd be cool with seeing Miku DLC show up if they made a Japanese release of the game after all this time.

Screw Miku, I want Vectorman.
Mr. Buddy Feb 9 @ 2:40pm
No.
Dipper Pines Feb 9 @ 3:12pm
I want Michael Rosen as the next character.
I'd pay good money to play as him.

I'd like to know if we're even getting any more characters first. It's a bit hard to explain without launching into a three-page essay, but long story short, Ryo's vehicle design and the fact that he took over a year to show up heavily implies that he's going to be the final additional character this game recieves.

That being said, shooting exploding pufferfish at Miku with AGES or Team Fortress would be freakin' hilarious.

Sure, I wouldn't mind, Vocaloid's a Sega franchise, right?

Vocaloid, as in the voice synth software and the characters use to represent the sound banks, no.

However, SEGA did publish the Project DIVA games on PSP. Those are Vocaloid based rhythm games featuring the characters and well known Vocaloid songs.
Miku even had a Sonic the Hedgehog cosplay outfit in one of the games. (see here: http://youtu.be/WPs4YkpVbr8)

So it's not unreasonable to tie Vocaloid to SEGA at this point.

It's not just the Project DIVA games. SEGA also released Miku games on the 3DS (Project mirai series), iOS and Android (MikuFlick, Live Stage Producer).

They even organized hologramic live concerts, and Miku herself got her major cameo appearance in 7th Dragon 2020, where almost every song IS sung by her.

The Sonic costume is not the only outfit a Vocaloid wears. They even have costumes from various SEGA games, including Puyo Puyo, Valkria Chronicles, Space Channel 5, Virtua Fighter, Phantasy Star, Shining series, and Border Break.

After Burner is involved too........as a song!

It feels like SEGA wanted Vocalooid to be part of their family.

sure.
Saga Saga Feb 12 @ 2:38pm
Sure, don't see why not.

Just as long as we get Sanshiro too.

I just realized. To make her a worthy addition to the game, they just have to know...:

1.) ...what her car/boat/plane looks like, and what transition of the tranformation;
2.) ...what she reacts when she gets 1st place, or a successful attack (or getting electricuted unless they consider her a bot like Metal Sonic (but more human));
3.) ...if Miku will speak Japanese, or mute; and
4.) ...what her attack and music is during an All-Star Move.
5.) Oh, yeah. What kind of Console Mod for her, since she debuted on PlayStation? But I kinda assume she'll have a VIP mod instead as she's not from SEGA, but from Crypton Future Media.

EDIT: Oh, looks like Japan's on the move to release the game this around May! No words for the Steam version though, but I certainly hope Miku's coming along soon....
