"Drowning" Glitch

I was just having a match making race when suddenly the "drowning" happened. I just drowned into the track endlessly (it was Graveyard Gig) and after a while the "fall off the track" screen appeared. Then it began to drown again, and so on. Is there some kind of glitch like this?

I had that glitch a couple of times. Always when hacker was present on the server.

Thanks for the reply! I don't think there's any hacker/cheater at that time though, but it seems that one or two player in the previous race have the same problem. They suddenly get stuck in the same spot even after the 2nd lap before they leave the race.

Were there players like Sonic Hedgehog or Andromeda on the server?

No, but there was some players having online multiplayer, 2 players per account (4 total). Maybe that's the cause?

This game has no support for some years. And the glitch we are talking about is one of thousand that exist.

Wow, I never knew there was THAT many. So far I only encountered the stunt buffer issue and this one. It's very unfortunate as the community still pretty much lives and more of the new players (including me) are still coming. It's a great game though, much more than great actually.
