Open the game through the exe in it's folder in steam instead

Steam took it off the store....that and anyone who still has it in their library it refuses to update from Nexon to Valeofe, which the servers have migrated to, so all you get is an error. Your best bet is to search for Valeofe Atlantica, since the steam version is dead and they won't update it...perhaps.
