Internal error (error code: 0xC0000022)

Finished downloading the game, clicked to start and this is what happens. Check the forums, restart steam, check cash integrity, all good. But the game STILL wont start. Any work arounds?

I have the same problem. I am currently reinstalling to see if that will fix it.

Got past this error by running "\Steam\steamapps\common\star conflict.game.exe" manually.

Tried that, and tried it in administrator mode too. No luck :( But thank you for the fix. I hope it helps some people.

ok so i tried this multiple times now and it seems if you run compatability trouble shooter for the main program in "\Steam\steamapps\common\star conflict.game.exe"(right click & go to properties) and then select test program when it shows the game will start up. unfortunately you have to do this every single time as not doing it will create the same error.

Edit: i have administrator mode on as well but it might not be necessary.

if nothing works for you guys and you really want to play. download the standalone-version and start the game before you launch steam.- it works for me.

when steam is on it crashes for me with the same error you guys get, just as the steam version does.

I downloaded the stand alove version. Same problem. Reinstalled the game, same problem. Still have a ticket out with customer service since the game came out... no good fixes so far... I cant even submit them the crash log, they only allow a 1mb upload, adn their own crash logs are 5mb.

Try these steps and if that doesnt work then there is nothing I can do for you.
1. Go to the file location of the game. As in: \Steam\steamapps\common\star conflict
2. right click on the application titled "game" (w/out qoutations)
3.Select & run Troubleshoot compatability. (it should be near the top of the possible options but if it isnt then select properties and click the compatability tab)
4. Select "Try recommended settings"
When the option appears click the button that says "Test the program..."
5. Repeat Steps 1-4 every time you wish to get on.
