How do you get the weapons in blue text exactly? I asked in General chat, but obviously I was interrupting a very serious discussion about Hitler and Jews so no one really answered except for one young man's reply: "DO RESEARCH"

you have to get to a certain level with the correspondng sub faction ie wardens or raid

Within each faction there are two sub factions. You need to do contracts with the subfactions to unlock higher tier weapons. If you look at the descriptions of the blue mods mouse over it and it will tell you what rank with what subfaction unlocks it.

General chat in the game is.. incredibly useless when you need help. Anywho, I know atleast the T1 blues is rank 3 with the sub-corps. Doesn't take to long, and if you hover over the parts for a sec on the shop it'll tell you/show you an emblem of the sub faction so you can sign up with them.

Thanks for the info guys, I get it now. One more question, how do I see what sub-corp ships belong to? For example, one of my contracts says to win a game using Armada ships.

Tried looking at the ship info but didn't see anything.

In the hangar on the left hand side is all three fractions. By clicking on the corresponding faction icon it will display their ships, thus allowing you to pick one.
