Resolution question

I looked into this game when it was released over the summer but read that the game is only playable in windowed mode at a small resolution. Is that the case with the Steam version?

No I tried both...in fact it just goes into big screen mode....I liked the window version smaller looks better so I needed to do is goto the game folder in steam and change it...the game is ment to look like old adventure from days past so resolution doesn't come in to it...

You can also go to your library, right-klick on the game, properties, start options and add --setup.
After doing this the game is not completely fullscreen (1920x1080) but almost and looks good and runs smooth.

I decided to buy it anyway and see how it plays. I currently have my laptop hooked up to my 42" TV so the game is a bit large, but glad to see it's not permanently stuck in windowed mode.

i like it in windowed mode but was hoping ot make it a little bigger, is there any way to do that?

Not that I'm aware of. There are no options for resolution, it's just windowed or fullscreen from what I see.

if you go to its location ( for me its c:\Steam\steamapps\common\Resonance) and run winsetup.exe you can change some things. You can basically increase the size from 1x to 2x, 3x or 4x, toggle fullscreen/windowed and also add/remove black bars for widescreen.
