Play the demo. Don't like it, just delete it. Like it, just buy it.

Its basically an arcade style beat 'em up.

Here's a link to a video about the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAhwY_KWLC8

KFS is not a walk in the park if your a casual player, to get the very best out of this game and learn you can take on each level fully in unimaginable ways will take time, you will need to do some grinding but you will enjoy KFS if your up for a challenging beat-em up that begs progression, levels can be hard but really they are not that hard, i am kind of Hardcore with 8 S ranks and working on the rest just add me on steam to view screenshots of my scores, a nice game but co-op and a casual easy mode would be nice as i know and made videos on KFS to help the community of players face almost each challenge, for 2 quid this is a real steal.

I loved beat em up games of old. I played this about an hour or two though and got bored. But that's only one man's opinion. As GTXTyson said, from what I played, I could see that the game is a bit challenging. I was okay with that. I just got bored after a while.

Pretty hard to go wrong with this purchase. After all, it is only $2.50.

I just bought it and I love it.. its a pretty sweet brawler.. Very simple mechanics and while you can "button smash" luck your way through, if you actually learn the moves and the game timing you can pull of some pretty sweet combos. It reminds me of Jade Empire in that you can chain attacks if you know the timing and mechanics of your moves.. Now this game doesn't have some cool story or anything, just enought to explain why your there to smash in some faces. lol. It's nice in that you can drop in the game.. fight a few things and drop out and go on with the rest of your day.

Bought it 5 hours ago..... beat it on easy mode, and I don't feel like playing it in any harder difficulty. If I replay I will probably still be playing on easy.

The easy mode here is harder than most other beat em up in the hardest difficulty.

As others have said previously this is a sweet and hardcore old school beat-em-all.

At first it may seem a bit messy as you will probably run around like a decapitated chicken trying to survive (well the headless chicken doesn't care much about survival anymore but you get the point) but the gameplay is deep and satisfying once you get the hang of it!

It runs very well on any of my computers, I couldn't spot a single slowdown when I was using the HD4000 IGP instead of the dedicated geforce.

Just make sure you use a gamepad ; I usually love my keyboard but wasn't able to do anything even remotely efficient with it :p

At full price it's a good deal. At 75% off it's a steal.

To those who have watched the TotalBiscuit video (I love how the more he plays the more he is surprised at how much fun he's having, laughing and stuff):

There IS a way to change the resolution and default controls. It's been discussed in other posts but I feel like it can't hurt to write it here as well.

Simply run "Config.exe" in the game directory (*\Steam\steamapps\common\kungfustrike), et voilà !
Can somebody help me out with the "Sword Pair" level? I can get all the way until the two assassins, and then it get's insanely hard. Even on easy. I try using the "Buddah Stamp" Chi move and that works somewhat well but my life always goes away. I could use some advice, been going at this one stupid level for like 2 hours....

You would likely want to play through it again to try the special challenges. For the price, it's a generous game, and the game itself is really good.

I got it in a bundle and I'm quite please with my purchase. The game plays well and looks great. I'd say it's worth 5 dollars or less.
