50% off Autumn Sale. Worth it?
It's 50% off right now, down to $9.99. Is it worth it for a better looking version of a game I already own on iPhone?

That depends. It looks better than the HD iOS version, but both iOS versions (SD & HD) include both expansion packs, the PC version doesn't. At least not yet. The devs have said they may or may not port them, that it all depends on how well the game sells. If they do, given the history of the Mac release, which came out August of 2011, it took them 10 months to release the Valkrie expansion, and Supernova came out 3 moths after that in Sept... same month as the PC version of the base game. So, they could release the expansions on the PC, which could take a while, or they may not release them at all... like they did with the Android THD version.

Personally I love the game, and I'm going to buy it again, but I'm also going to hold off for a few days. It's on sale right now for $9.99, and will be until the 27th, but then again this is just the first day of the sale. Anytime between now and the 27th the price could drop further, maybe on a special deal of the day, or as a flash sale, so you could get it cheaper between now and then. Since you've got some time until the sale ends, I'd wait until the last day to see if it drops even further.

I think so, I have it for the IPad and I suck at it. I'm much better at mouse controls and it looks fantastic.

Wait until the last day of the sale cause it may end up on one of the flash sales. At it's current price though it is worth it, just not the full asking price

Scorcher24 23. Nov. 2012 um 10:32 Uhr
Yeah why did the discount go down? Wanted to get it but now it is only 33%.. -.-

In Yankee money, that's $4.99 on GMG... use the voucher for another 25% or $3.74 total price.

You get a Steam key and activate it in the usual way.

Yeah, I just saw that deal today. I took that offer and immediately went through with the order and am downloading now. At that price - $3.74 - it's practically a steal.

I agree, I even had 50 cents in credit left over so it was only $3.25, it's been a great fun little game so far.

The damn thing said it was on sale until the 27th, and listed for 50% off, and today you guys switch it to 33% off? Dirty Valve. Real dirty.

Yeah I think they must try to ♥♥♥♥ people off.
Oh well. I'll just buy it from GMG. Their loss.

What makes you think that's Valves fault? The publishers set the price, not Valve.

The code for an extra 25% off at GMG is GMG25-G4VDR-0ZL4Q

As people have said it takes the price down to $3.75 which is about where an iOS game should be when "on sale" honestly.

yes, you can. There's an HD version and a non-HD version for different models of iOS devices.
