Please, remove GFWL and port to Steamworks.
To devs or editors:

Please remove the GFWL DRM crap and make a port to steamworks (if possible add achievements, trading cards, cloud...). The game is good, don't let die.

If you make the effort and well advertised on Steam (with an weekend deal, for example) I'm sure you could get enough to recover the investment.

Thanks for listening.

Unfortunately this will be their loss... shrug.

I have just again played this game and (above) joking aside I have just had a thrill which hasn't lately been satisfied in 'some' areas with my playing of Asseto Corsa or RaceRoom Experience DTM game.

I actually was enjoying the visuals and physics of this taking into account I have been using the keyboard with all the games, and I'm aware a wheel is recommended and I just haven't used my G27 in quite a while.

Has this game been given up on as I'm enjoying it 'for what it is' and yet vaguely think there was more promised? Although I certainly might be wrong here LOL. I do agree that GFWL should be removed if not for the fact this game does sadly appear dead in the water so, hey why the hell not get rid of something awful in the first place?

Also just an aside here - where is the connection to SimBin? Sorry having a brainfarrt here ;-/

This game is still for sale on Steam for £14.99 so if they are selling it I would hope they would at least change it over to steam without GFWL
+1 Yes, me too hopes for a steam ed without gfwl.
Is the gfwl removed? Not? Then delete the title from the store please.

GFWL is still in the game. I have just tried it.

so if GFWL is down there is NO problems with game saves ?

GFWL is still required to make the saves. I have just done some tests.

I (me) can still log into my GFWL account (as I can with Dirt3) and I can save my progress, yes. Some do have varying probles with GFWL though and something that works for me may not work for you.

The savegame can be found in c:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends.

THX, but there is another problem with that save & that there's a registry linked to that save so if you reinstal windows you won't be able to use that save. There is a post about that in this forum & a tool called "game save manager" that helps to back things up.
This problem exists with other GFWL so knowing where ur save folder is isn't always a solution.
Hope this helps.

OugaBooga

That's good to know too :-)
Yea, reason i say this is cause i'am in the habit of backing up my saves, there are MANY places for games to save to & with this game my save from ur said location didn't work for me & that's how i found out bout the registry thing & that manager.
I haven't used the manager "yet" until i move over to win 8.x
Have fun :)
