Runs really hot

Being a turn based game I wouldn't expect this to suck so much processing time and battery life on my laptop. Would be nice if the devs put a yield() in there somewhere so I can play this game while travelling, as it stands I get 1 hour and 30 minutes out of my battery when playing this game instead of 4 hours.

There is a command line option to lower the frame rate. Try:
--maxfps=15

That should save some battery.
