Pay to WIN
I actually think this game is mostly Pay to Win, because you see all the other Over Powered Guys with Over Powered weapons, in which you mostly have to pay for.

Who agrees?

I agree with you completely... And you end up spending more money on fixing weapons than actually buying stuff.

There's no point repairing weapons, really. You only lose 10% damage, and that's only at full weapon degradation. On a shotgun, okay, that makes a difference. But on an automatic weapon, losing 0.6 damage per round really doesn't matter that much. As for the OP weapons, if you take a look at the stats of the weapons in the shop, you'll notice that there's always a trade-off. A MP5 with the right modifications can be nearly as deadly. The reason higher level players own so much, is just because they're actually pretty good at the game, because they've played it a bunch.

Yes, higher level players have better skills. Medigel, Akimbo etc have higher outputs. But that really doesn't make all the difference. It is true though that to get the in-game cash to purchase modifications and other weapons takes a lot of time, and you'll have to practice taunting etc to get your Heat up, to raise the rewards at the end of the game.

For gameplay tips, definitely check out the beginners thread on the official forums. There's good stuff in there that will probably make you enjoy the game more.

Just wanted to give another point of view on this topic.

This is a discussion, I thought that people who played this game would already recognise the problems, the MASSIVE problem about F2P games, is that you need a powerfull pc. Unlike most games.

I don't know, I play this on a Mac Mini of all things :) To be honest, low graphics settings actually give an advantage because there's no shadows or anything. But if your framerate is really low, that could explain why you might be having trouble hitting people when they seem to one-shot you every time.

Also I get destroyed by lvl 1 players with MP5s quite regularly. My head's a bullet magnet.

My framerate (FPS) was fine on medium, its not that I couldn't hit people, it is the requirment of an i7 to play this game, with a GTX500 series graphics card. The thingg that bothers me is F2P games are made for poor people if you know what I mean, so how is a person (for example) that gets $10 a week, and he just wants to have fun on a reccomended game that gets good reviews and stuff. But he cant because he has an i3 with a toilet roll for a graphics card. Do you get the point?

This I can wholeheartedly agree with. What's the point of having a fun, affordable game if the system you need to run it costs a ton? I wish these games would scale better, but I'm not sure how much lower they could get the system requirements on the engine they use. I use a pretty high end workstation at work, and just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles tried the game there (hi boss, seriously I only tried it for 5 minutes, please don't fire me) and it's like it's a different game.

But that's sort of the PC gaming trap, I guess. It's a never-ending cycle of upgrading hardware to keep up with gaming developments, and features most people wouldn't care about if they didn't know about them. Like depth of field, SSAO and motion blur, who actually NEEDS those? Sure, it looks nice, but to me it all just feels like unnecessary luxuary. But then, I'm an old grumpy grandpa by most standards.

I understand companies try and keep up with the upgrading proccess and make their games look like any other COD or Battlefield, but it's what makes games themselves, its a type of memmory. Example: Oh I played a game called Bullet Run, it was awesome I had alot of fun, it runs really smooth on my computer even on high! Even though I have a standard pc, this is going on my favourites!

That is something that I doubt would be said about this game. kthxbye

STEAM must remove this game, it makes no sense.

The game is still fun though, it's just not what you expect from a F2P game. In the olden days, F2P games were simple, cheap (both to play and to develop) games that pretty much anyone could play on any hardware. But now, the F2P landscape (I can't believe I just said that.) has changed. Major publishers are jumping on the F2P bandwagon, to take a slice of the pie.

Like I would love to play this very same game in a different, much lighter engine. It's not like it needs this engine, the gameplay mechanics would work in pretty much any FPS engine. Maybe it would get more players, like you (and me, really, the mini just barely runs this and sounds like a vacuum from load to finish) if it ran an engine that would be lighter. Like, I dunno, a slightly updated Painkiller engine? I know nothing about technology though.

Good talk, man. Glad we had this little discussion.
