Superior brain

Hello. I have gotten kinda stuck in progression. I wan't to build the robot, but I need a superior brain. I only get inferior brains whenever I kill common mobs with the brain extractor. I have tried to kill mobs up to level 20 with them, and still just inferior brains. Anyone know how to get a superior brain? And yes, I have also tried to kill human or other races npcs, but they don't drop it since it is apparently not a "common" mob.

I've killed neutral monsters of lvl10 or so and it dropped. And robot is somewhat a mystery, he killed me immidietly after turning him on.

I got about 7 inferior and 3 superior brains the only 5 mins I used the extractor. I might have killed higher lvl mobs with it though but I had no problems at all. Can only tell you that they drop from both aggressive and passive mobs... :/

It appears to be random drops which give superior brain. I have gotten one from every type of mob at some point. The extractor is a superior CQB "gun".

I got about 5 in a lvl 6 planet

73 inferior brains, 0 superior brains. and no, it's not a typo. must resist ragequit.

You guys can go to a lvl 1 planet and get it there. I always get mine around 20~30 kills.

So much steel. A superior brain! So many pixels (for that point in the game)... And coal's still a valuable resource at that point! o:
Yeah, just kill things on a low level planet to "grind" for it. They should probably add a recipe to make it as well, seeing as it IS kind of grindy when it takes 80 enemies, and the weapon is kind of pathetic.

Got it on a threat 1 planet after zapping 6 mobs..lucky i guess^^

It's apparently a 7% drop, not depended on level.

Try to find smarter monsters, I went to a new planet and there was a mob that didn't attack me until i tryed to get away from it or fight it. Or that might be a bug.

I crafted the extrator and the brain dropped on the first mob I hit it with. Totally random drop rate.
