Just finished Shuggy!
And I must say, I rather enjoyed it! The puzzles weren't incredibly difficult but they weren't the easiest either, which was perfect for a relaxing and cute puzzle game such as this one. I actually ended up buying the game a few months back because I read about the infortunate circumstances that happened to SmudgedCat during development, and wanted to support him and show that at least SOMEONE cared about all the crap he had to go through. (If anyone isn't familiar, this article talks all about it: http://www.edge-online.com/features/humble-indie-fumble-xbla-horror-story/ ) And I must admit, I'm glad I did! I never got bored, I enjoyed the art style, and overall wish that more people had given this one a try. Thanks for the awesome game! :)

after reading this, watching some trailers, looking through some walkthroughs and read a summary of the ordeal that SmudgedCat went through on wikipedia (couldn't access the article you posted), I am going to buy this game. It looks fun and interesting. the art style is very cute and i love the idea of the puzzles and all. I will support you, SmudgedCat!! :D

Thank you guys. Comments like this really do make a massive difference to small developers like myself. You've really brightened my day! :)

I completed all the story levels the other day, then moved on and played another platformer that I had picked up during the sale... After I completed that, I realized how mechanically sound and enjoyable Shuggy was by comparison, and came back to replay the levels and beat my times.
My son also likes it, so I'll hopefully get that co-op achievement in the not too distant future.
You do good work dev, cheers.

Ouch. I hadn't heard that before. I hope things have been going better more recently. I really enjoyed the game. I think I'll pick up Gateways now.

After getting this as a gift recently, I decided to check it out tonight and ended up putting two hours into it clearing through 50 of the levels. It's a really enjoyable experience and the mechanics are all pretty solid, and I'm even more excited to (eventually) get to Gateways!
