How do you use Arrows and Bows

I have played every Role Playing Game from KOar to Skyrim and it was relatively easy, but this game, I just can't seem to use a Bow and Arrow. I equip it just fine, but the character just refuses to fire any arrows. I have purchased arrows and can see them behind antagonist, but how are they used? Thanks in advanced.

Gam3,

-First, make sure you meet the stat requirements for the bow you're attempting to use.

-Second, make sure you're holding the bow in both hands.

-Third, make sure you have arrows equipped in your slot. When equipped with a bow Heavy Attack and Parry let you switch arrow types.

-Hold attack to fully draw the bow back, then let go to fire it.

To add to Gaijin's solid response:
To me, playing with a keyboard, toggling between using one hand or two hands for your weapon was Alt, and toggle in and out of aim mode was Left Shift.

You cannot use the zoom aim on a crossbow, no. You can lock on with one though, which I realize is not nearly as useful if you want to bow cheese or lure something.

Yeah, that is what I was trying to figure out, if I needed the bow for the long range stuff. Seems so, crossbow range is weak.
