What's your specs? I had to play the game 1024x768 because of my computer, have you tried lowering the resolution?

Thank you as well. I am new to steam and not much of a pc gamer so this is the first game I bought. Couldn't play it cause it chugged so bad. lowered rez and it fixed the problem. Ty again.

Made absolutely sure I met the system requirements before I bought this. Was really excited. Was really dissapointed shortly after, when I found even at the lowest possible resolution with graphics set to the most minimum setting, it still runs like friggin molasses. Feeling burned for the money now as I am not in the market for a new computer anytime soon. I think the system requirements should probably be updated to inform the fact that they don't actually mean squat all.

Boy weevil, care to share your system specs so other users can get an indication of how far above the minimum specs it's still definitely not playable?

But I find it insanley ludicrous that they expect us to lower our settings just to run their game where i can run my other 70 games at their highest quality with absolute ease. This is just taking away from the game quality and experience. And definitley not what I payed for.

Are you talking about crysis and posting a few years in the past by any chance?

Word. I run games like Deus Ex HR, XCOM EU and Dishonored on roughly medium-ish settings at 1366x768 on my GT620 card, and I can get 35-40fps on avg for all 3.

BUT, for Deadlight, running on 1366x768, it runs on a FREAKING 24fps. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous. And this with the graphics slider all the way to the minimum!!!!

The description is definitely misleading. "Recommended" specs should refer to playing the game on close to its max settings, and no way a 512MB card will do it. Mine is a 1GB card. I play most 2D games on 1080p at 60fps (sometimes I need to lower it to 720p though).
