Windows 8 - Needed to Enable "Windows 7| compatibility

The program crashes on Windows 8.
A workaround is to find "Offspring Fling.exe" and enable "Windows 7" compatibility mode.

Aww and I just learned the hard way that there's no Steam cloud support. =(

Same problem here, it simply crashes right away on Windows 8.
I can launch the game when enabling "Windows 7 compatibility mode" for Offspring Fling.exe, but only when launching it directly via the .exe not through Steam.

I also find it very disappointing that there are neither Achievements not Steam Cloud support - especially the latter is rather important to me for little "coffee break" games like this.

I know that Steamworks integration is a bit trickier for games developed with Adobe Flash/Air - but there are games based on the same technology that are doing both just fine. "The Binding of Isaac" for example solved this with a tiny "FlashAchievments.exe" helper app that itself is not written in Flash.

So Cloud and Achievements for Flash games are far from impossible, the fact that there even is a fan-made version of FlashAchievments.exe for BoI that iron's out some of the original version's bugs makes me even think that it's relatively simple it implement ...

Thanks for the heads up. Was crashing immediately on startup in Windows 8 Pro 64-bit. Setting Windows 7 compatibility mode on the .exe fixes it.

It works fine in My Windows 8 Pro wth Media Center and I did not need to do anything.

No tweak needed, but, game only runs in "windowed" mode. Is it normal?

Oh, nevermind, in settings you can set fullscreen :)

I managed to get the game to run on Windows 8 and get the game to run in fullscreen mode... now my only issue is that the game is running SUPER slow. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Try disabling the controller support.
