Instant crash

So... Everytime I try to play the game, it crashes as the WB sign starts to float over the cauldron. How do I fix this? I tried the stuff with the sound board and playback devices. None of that worked..

Sorry to say, I still have nothing on the fix. I've been checking when I can, but I've gotten no responces from either supports.

In the Steam client, click the "Help" button and then "System Information"

Copy the following pieces:

Processor Information
Operating System Version
Video Card
Memory

Those four categories (everything underneath them). They are the most important parts of your computer when it comes to running video games.

So should I buy new parts? Sorry for the late reply... Tough ♥♥♥♥ goin on IRL, but still... Would it help if i had a new OS or VC or more ram? I'll do that before I buy anything but I read this first so I might as well ask.

Someone else checking in with the same problem. Have tried the sound fix, the pccconfig.txt fix, and none seem to work.
