1080p Update
Will there be a update that puts the game at this resolution?

this is a freaking 2d platformer done retro style ... why would they do that?

*facepalm*

Dude If u read their past posts, they said the will be making a resolution update. That does not affect a 2d platformer done retro style. Read more on resolution since it seem that you have no idea how it works. *facepalm*

AFAIK they are working on a C++/SDL version, so it'll probably come with it...

Having said that, most displays work just fine @ 720p, so I guess it's probably not too high on their priorities list.

i play on a 40" tv so 720 is kind of odd makes it big and kinda blurry but the 2d art style doesnt really get bad compared to other games. I just would Love it to be at native 1080

So, this discussion started on Febuary... and it's still not updated? In that case, it's a shame because I was considering to buy it. And yes, 720p is lame, specially nowadays, doesn't matter how pixelated or blocky are the game's graphics intended to look like.

My Yamakasi Catleap 27" S-IPS Monitor doesn't. In fact, my monitor only works just fine @ 2560x1440 at all times. Guess I'll have to run it in a window (is there a windowed command I can put in?).

Edit: Never mind about the command, seems like the game actually started in a window anyway straight away :p

This is your TV's fault, it's blurry because your TV is trying to upscale it. Turn off the post-processing features.
I would like it natively scaled to 1080p if only to have more room to use the Steam overlay.

Alternately you could try running it fullscreen and turning off your monitor's interpolation. 2560x1440 is just twice 1280x720, after all. So every pixel in the game would get turned into 2x2 pixels onscreen.

Since when is 1080p fullscreen a luxury and not a requirement for a 2012 game?

69% of gamers do not use 1080p displays.

I reckon every resolution lower than 1920x1080p should be phased out & 2560x1440 becomes the new default resolution to be used today

Canti, what you meant to say, by quoting the steam hardware survey is that 1920x1080 is the resolution used by the majority of steam users. Ty. ;)

And no. We should have options, 1080 is the resolution used by the majority and fullscreen should be available.

I don't get the issue. Really.

Ick, 2560x1440 is far too small for me to work on. I need 4x 4k displays to even begin to have a usable desktop. ;)
