Game freezes and then computer shuts down?

Is anyone else having this problem or know a solution?

It's happened three times now and it's a little concerning, it will be playing just fine and then it will suddenly slow down, freeze and my computer will shut down immediately without so much as a "shutting down" screen.

Running windowed on windows 7 with everything I can turned off.

Seems like overheating problem to me. Try turning vsync on and checking temperature with free apps while playing in window. Another possibility is problems with power supply unit. Other games run fine?

That's very possible, but other games do run fine, I'll try checking the temperature and turning vsync on and see if it happens again (which could take some time since it does only happen occasionally), thank you for the help!
