Do you have access to your levels?
Please look at your "they bleed pixels" subdirectory, typically here:
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\they bleed pixels"
There should be a subdirectory called something like "%%%%%%%%%%%%%%" where % is a number. In there are the save files. There might also be a subdirectory called "0". Please copy all of these somewhere else.
First, try installing the TBP on another computer. This may restore the old save files from the cloud.
Otherwise, if you found a "0" subdirectory, try putting those files into the subdirectory made of numbers.
I don't know what else to suggest otherwise. I'm really sorry this happened. I think the files were lost because the machine died in mid-write and that's something I can't really do much about.
ok now ive done as you said regarding the %%%% file, its futile sadly. it seems like the corrupted data has been absorbed by steam cloud, it seems like a lost case to me.
well thanks for your help anyway
