ok i just lost my save (aka everything) what the hell (NOT cloud failure)
ugh 90 hours of playing for nothing

i know theres a common problem regarding the cloud data not loading but this is NOT the problem here

while i was playing something messed up with my computer and i had to reboot. when i opened the game again everything was gone. i restarted steam, reinstalled the game, still nothing.

when you enter the leaderboards you still see my name in the top, i have the achievements too but thats it

Was your configuration info saved? (Music volume, sound fx volume, full/window, etc.)

Do you have access to your levels?

Please look at your "they bleed pixels" subdirectory, typically here:
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\they bleed pixels"
There should be a subdirectory called something like "%%%%%%%%%%%%%%" where % is a number. In there are the save files. There might also be a subdirectory called "0". Please copy all of these somewhere else.

First, try installing the TBP on another computer. This may restore the old save files from the cloud.

Otherwise, if you found a "0" subdirectory, try putting those files into the subdirectory made of numbers.

I don't know what else to suggest otherwise. I'm really sorry this happened. I think the files were lost because the machine died in mid-write and that's something I can't really do much about.

yeah i do, its just everythings set to 0

ok now ive done as you said regarding the %%%% file, its futile sadly. it seems like the corrupted data has been absorbed by steam cloud, it seems like a lost case to me.

well thanks for your help anyway
