Phsyics engine: demo versus complete game

Did the physics engine change between the demo the full game? I was able to blow through the demo, but this little guy doesn't seem to fly the same or have as much umphf in his engine in the full game to lift some of the larger rocks......

Restarted the game (and started a new game) instead of trying to continue my demo game seemed to solve the problem
