the second light ball magnet puzzle is infuriating
This completely ruined the game for me. I was loving this game up until this point, and now I just feel like I wasted my money. Seriously, in one part it went from me wanting to recommend this game to my friends and maybe even buy it for them, to me wishing I never bought the game and wanting to warn anybody who is remotely thinking about buying this game. How did this get past testing? Did nobody bring this to the developers' attention? And yes, I am obviously posting this out of frustration.

What puzzle are you refering to? I don't recall any puzzles that were overly challenging...

It's the part where you have to guide the ball of light around the spikes using magnets...it's not hard as a puzzle, it's hard in a twitch-gaming sense. In my case, I think my older computer specs made it so the response from button presses was just a hair off, which would completely screw up the timing necessary to complete it.

If this could help (if you have a delay with your controller or just to test it) :
"I think there's a way to solve it by deactivating the VSync. In the game folder Engine\Config, open "BaseEngine.ini", search "UseVsync=True" and replace it by "UseVsync=False".

Disabling the VSync in Super Hexagon for instance changes the game entirely."

Ahh, I know you probably didn't plan coming back to this discussion but I have a question about this actually, default_loser, did disabling the VSync work? I'm stuck on this part too. It's pretty damn annoying and I can agree with you wholeheartedly.

Yeah, the copper-coil wrapped nail puzzles are very frustrating. They're not really based on relavent skills that have been tested through the game up to their point, but rather, based on simple timing and rhythm. I've played the game 31 (no joke, I absolutely love this game) times so far and I still get stuck for a minute or two at this puzzle.
While difficult it doesn't ruin the game (for me at least), it just takes so serious patience.
Essentially you have to get the flow of the ball down and know when to press the switch, when to press off, and when to reactivate it to keep said flow going until the ball goes into the end tube and gets released.
