Be warned: requires a "Stardock account" to play
I'm really getting tired of all this FORCED registration aspect of many current games, and I know there are lots of people who don't care about this, but I also know this is a huge turnoff for lots of other gamers, so, be warned: to play this game you'll be forced to create a "Stardock account", otherwise you won't be able to play the game you bought.

I agree and thanks for the info, I hate registering games on an outside account

Aye it's kinda sucky, but it was really easy and quick to sign up and then a quick validation via email and done...dont have to worry about it ever again. :D

Actually, twenty8twelve, you'll find out very soon you just signed up for lots of different "Stardock newsletters". And you'll find out that even after you click the "please, don't send me freaking spam again" little buttom you'll still receive a few of 'em. I hate forced registration, and I hate persistent spam even more. :/

This is why I make an email account specifically to deal with registering games/registering on forums. Spam doesn't end up bothering me.

Mmm interesting, I haven't received anything so far, but I did untick everything in the special mailing subscription section on the account (not just on the sign-up).

But yeah I get ppls frustrations with forced sign-ups, it's just a shame as it's a cool little game. :)

Well it did say in the system requirements on the store page, " to activate this game you must create a Stardock account while launching the game on Steam."

This^

Also i mean, just make a new email account and register the stardock account there, its a great game and this shouldnt stop you from buying it, i mean really.

Thanks for letting us know, I was going to buy a 4 pack because it was so cheap but I feel the same way, I'm buying a game, not a forced demand to become some game companies puppet to be controlled, we get enough and that garbage is real life as it is.

I won't be buying, so take note DEVS, your losing a lot of $$$ because of your forced demands.
