God I want to recommend this so bad, the story is awesome and adds to our cliff hanger ending and I mean why wouldn't you want to play more of F.E.A.R? I'll tell you why for this DLC, you are without a doubt going to have issues with this game. You will need to do your own research and work to figure out how to size it to your screen. You'll have to do a fix for the god awful frame rate, as well as fight settings since it wont apply them occasionally. I want to add that at one point when I was just trying to go through the train at the end of the subway, it would kick me out of solo saying I was disconnected from server, the way to fix it was lowering all my graphics??? I had another incident happening that the game would just freeze at this door way I needed to walk through, I kept having to use task manager to close the damn game.

With all being said if you don't mind the work and are really wanting to continue with the first FEAR then definitely play this. The world in this DLC is such a nice switch up from the original campaign and plus giving us some more context on events as well as just as a whole felt more as a horror shooter compared to the normal campaign. I really liked it but because of the annoying fixes you need to do on your own end, I have to give it a thumbs down.

Better than the main game. Just get the fps fixed and you're Gucci.

game crashes quite a bit, memory load, diconnects from servers and so forth, not to mention frame rate issues that requires a 3rd party fix but that said it's still a great game. Good gunplay and good scares!
