I am tired of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practices I gave them money and they don’t need my PERSONAL info!
Do they have a second business apart from gaming selling databases to sponsors or who knows whom?
I ALREADY had installed it, my HD broke down and now it wants to register again?
They are a small company, imagine what they are going to do if they become big as UBI or EA, companies like this doesn’t deserve to exist.
Sorry but these kind of practices make me feel very angry.
I am almost sure I was Mickey Mouse, Bonaparte or something the first time I installed it lol I don’t remember.
The problem is my PC crashed, in that case I can reinstall on different data?
Go figure I don’t have a clue how I registered the first time.
In any case I don’t even tried it, is a fun game but not worth the annoyance, I just wish the publishers to bankrupt they don’t deserve to stay on business.
I had been in Anno forums lately seeing a lot of rants against Uplay, but at least they are a big company doing some good games, and this tiny s**** company is far worse than they or EA.
The problem is that if you want to reinstall or install on another machine (because it is cross-platform after all), you have to contact them to let it activate. At least, that's what happened in my case. I wanted to install it on both my PC and Mac, and that meant registering it twice.
The other problem is that this is a German company, so good luck getting any support. I think I get a reply a couple months after I contacted them
That’s is what I was asking and fearing, I have no idea what data I gave the first time and that happened years ago, and like Op mentioned they want to know everything about you (wth what stupid porpoise?) and now since my PC crashed…
Screw them, people bash a lot Ubi and EA but I often had seen some indies having much worse practices than them
